Welcome to the GESS Self-Alignment Tool!

This FREE tool is designed to assist marketplace providers in determining their products’ security controls alignment to the GESS controls. Use of the self-alignment tool is voluntary as well as the extent to which the self-alignment is completed or evidence uploaded etc.

In the near future we anticipate that third party security auditing/certification/compliance organizations may partner with A4L to offer follow up reviews of self-alignments. The information entered into any self-alignment may be kept confidential by the provider, or if they so choose, this information may be shared with a third party compliance organization to assist in an official review.

All details of the self-alignment will remain confidential and under the control of the provider with no access granted to A4L or any of its members. Basic vendor contact information only will be made available to A4L staff to support engagement and adoption of the Global Education Security Standard and use of the GESS Self-Alignment Tool.
