Approved: Contract is signed and resource is in use.
Approved w/ Guardian Release: Guardians signed a contract to allow a resource to be used in a specific classroom with a specific group of students.
Not Approved: Vendor was unable to sign the contract and, therefore, teachers are not allowed to use the resource with students.
Renewal Pending: District has an active agreement that will expire soon and they are in the process to renew with the vendor.
Did Not Pursue: District determined that the resource does not align with educational goals, therefore, teachers are not allowed to use the resource with students.

Purpose: Checkology® by the News Literacy Project is a browser-based e-learning environment that provides educators with resources to teach news literacy. The platform contains lessons, exercises, fact-checking missions and challenges, as well as the ability to invite journalists to speak to classrooms, a fact-checking sandbox, and more. To use Checkology, educators and students only need an up-to-date browser and the ability to stream video. Educators create classes and then send students class join links so that students can create their accounts and get to work on their news literacy course.
