Glenbrook High School District 225 Online Resource Details

Glenbrook High School District 225 has partnered with the Illinois Student Privacy Alliance (ISPA) as part of its effort to implement the Student Online Privacy Protection Act (SOPPA).  The ISPA is a joint effort by school districts, coordinated by the Illinois Learning Technology Center to ensure that data privacy agreements are accessible from a single web portal to students, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.

The school district remains committed to ensuring that the privacy of student and employee information utilized and/or maintained within our respective systems is protected using industry-leading data security technologies.  While the requirements under SOPPA become effective on July 1, 2021, the school district's technology teams have started to make resources available so that they can be reviewed by our community's stakeholders.

Approved: Contract is signed and resource is in use.
Approved w/ Guardian Release: Guardians signed a contract to allow a resource to be used in a specific classroom with a specific group of students.
Not Approved: Vendor was unable to sign the contract and, therefore, teachers are not allowed to use the resource with students.
Renewal Pending: District has an active agreement that will expire soon and they are in the process to renew with the vendor.
Did Not Pursue: District determined that the resource does not align with educational goals, therefore, teachers are not allowed to use the resource with students.
