Welcome to our directory of district-approved online resources. This page provides a view of digital tools, applications, and software that have been used with students in our district and that collect student personally identifiable information (PII). In alignment with the Illinois Student Online Personal Protection Act (SOPPA), each resource listed is covered by a student data privacy agreement. This may include a Data Privacy Agreement (DPA) or an Exhibit E, which allows the district to participate in an existing agreement. Inclusion in this directory indicates that a tool has been vetted for data privacy and approved for specific educational purposes within the district. However, not all tools are intended for general use. Access may vary by grade level, content area, or specific student needs.

Renewal Pending: District has an active agreement that will expire soon and they are in the process to renew with the vendor.
Did Not Pursue: District determined that the resource does not align with educational goals, therefore, teachers are not allowed to use the resource with students.

Purpose: District 65 staff members will utilize the Finalsite communications platform to manage the external District 65 website as well as 18 school websites. This includes the Composer content management system and external website hosting for public-facing information. The site is managed by members of the communications team along with school-based staff including school webmasters, administrators, and office staff. The purpose of the websites are to share important information about the school district with external stakeholders. In addition District 65 communications staff and school administrators and office staff, including secretaries and health clerks, will utilize the BB Comms platform for mass notification purposes. The BB Comms platform is synced with the District's student and staff information systems to send timely communications to stakeholders via phone, email, and text. This system is relied upon for emergency notification purposes.

Purpose: Zearn Math is a coherent and rigorous K-5 curriculum delivered in a personalized rotational model. With Zearn Math, students learn in two ways: Independent Digital Lessons and Small Group Instruction. During Independent Digital Lessons, students learn at their own pace with digital manipulatives, paper and pencil transfer, and precise digital feedback at the moment of misconception. In Small Group Instruction, students work with concrete manipulatives, explain and share their math reasoning, and get direct feedback from their teachers and peers. Combined, every student has a daily personalized learning experience. Zearn Math is rated a Tier 1 curricular resource by the Louisiana Department of Education.
