Vendor Response: If we are talking about one or just a couple, then please ask them to look for alternatives. We are not the ones that created a legal document with dozens of pages and dozens of requirements that we have to abide too. The burden this puts on a small independent developer that does not even have the funding for a legal team is HUGE. We are not Microsoft or Amazon and I cannot be reckless and just sign a legal document. We take our job very seriously and we do everything we can to do the very best but if you actually read through the document that you sent me you should be scared as a small developer. It gives your legal team the right to audit us and impose all kinds of overhead which could be stifling and add costs far greater than what we might ever receive in revenue. We have created a wonderful educational tool and app. We sell no data and make no data available to anyone. We also have policies in place that communicate that we are a good actor. If that's not good enough, then so be it. I doubt you can find and ever will be able to find a tool as good as what we have created. Thanks for your understanding, |
