	Gimkit Purpose: In ASL there are few ways to create review for students outside of the classroom. Upon collaborating with ASL teachers in other districts and experimenting- Gimkit would be an amazing addition. Gimkit allows me to upload GIFs whereas resources like Kahoot! do not. Uploading GIFs means I can actually show the signs which cannot be shown in photos only. Another benefit to Gimkit is that I can assign students a game for homework. Any time students complete one of my games, at home or in class, I can see the game stats. These stats include each student's overall score of questions answered correctly and incorrectly. It also gives me a question-by-question break down to see which questions were frequently missed. I can also do the same with the entire class. I can use that information to provide a re-teaching and focus on ones that were particularly challenging for certain individuals or the entire class. I can also use these stats to view student growth, and as assessments to see if students have met a standard or not. Finally, my teaching friends say their students LOVE Gimkit review days. There is so much variety with how to play and trial games are available frequently for different upgrades, music, themes, etc. I would be so grateful to be able to use Gimkit for the upcoming school year. This would also tremendously help if we are still online.
